Waste shipments – revision of EU rules
As announced in the European Green Deal, the Commission intends to review the EU rules on waste shipments. The purpose of this review is to ensure how to facilitate that EU policy on waste shipments promotes recycling in the EU to support the transition to the circular economy.

European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) Award
The European Committee of the Regions launches re-opening of the applications for the European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) Award, merging the EER 2021 application process with the next one and extending the implementation of the EER label over two years – 2021 and 2022.
