The President of Maramureș County Council initiates debates with the youth NGOs regarding the support they can obtain from the county administration
To mark the European Year of Youth, on the 10th of February 2022, the president of Maramureș County Council invited the youth NGOs to a first debate on the support they can get from the county administration in order to implement as many projects as possible, dedicated to the youth population of Maramures.
The funding that these organizations can benefit from Maramureș County Council was one of the topics discussed, in this context being decided to set up a joint working group for revising the applicant’s guide for grants under Law no. 350/2005. The possibility of elaborating a county strategy for youth was also debated, a process in which the co-optation of some representatives of non-governmental organizations is desired. The agenda also included the European funding opportunities that non-governmental organizations can consider. The president of Maramureș County Council showed openness to concluding public-private partnerships in the submission and implementation of European-funded projects.
